Between the Twins, Jack can be considered more of the "brains" of the operation. He's the one that's able to keep a leveled head in (most) tense situations, able to plan their actions ahead of time, albiet in a rather short-sighted way.. But! It's sure better than nothing at all! He attempts to keep them (or really just Sparrow) from going too off-the-cuff if it's a serious enough situation that no one benifits from.

That isn't to say he's a stick-in-the-mud, very far from it in fact. Nearly everything he accounts for is all for the sake of levity, whatever happens to be the funnest option at any given moment. Sure, maybe a good amount of the crew would rather they not pull their antics, and maybe they are more obnoxious to that particular batch of the crew than anything else. But maybe they should learn to loosen up a little and know when to have a bit of fun, what's the point in being pirates if you can't even have that?

○ Jack and Sparrow are rarely separated; Being apart for an extended amount of time without literally being able to see the other often leads to them panicking.
      • Unless there is a narrative reason for it, they shouldn't be depicted 100% seperate from the other in a storyline context.

      • Their piebald patterns align perfectly as if they are two halves of a whole, their piercing placements are meant mirror the other, even their handedness is as if they're each other's reflection.
