 Joy was one of the earlier Predecessors created, however, her unprecedented overabundance of electricity - even within her initial creation chamber - was so deadly that after killing several scientists in the blink of an eye, she was put into stasis for years until her body stabilized enough. While still very dangerous, she could now be observed safely from a distance - Joy was kept isolated from the other Preds in fear that she would disrupt their other studies. This did not prevent her from seeking attention whenever she could; she lit up whenever movement caught her peripherals, hoping that this time, someone was coming to give her a bit of love.

* After learning of Trini's existence, Joy holds an affinity for the color red. She never met her other siblings - Blitz, Zeke, and Boo - though she was later made aware of them. Maybe after waking in Tonic's lab, she and Boo can make up for lost time...
* Joy is incredibly touch-starved, but is more afraid of killing someone with her touch - which has happened more times than she can count.
* While Joy sees all of her clones as children in a sense, she feels the strongest connection to Ago. He is, in every way imaginable, her and Sae's true biological son.
